Russia Threatens Space Nuke Against Starlink

Feb 3, 2026

Russian state media has crossed another ominous line. Following reports that Elon Musk restricted Russian forces from exploiting Starlink to carry out attacks in Ukraine, Kremlin-aligned voices are now openly calling for nuclear weapons to be detonated in space to wipe out the satellite network. Vladimir Solovyov, one of the most prominent propagandists serving the Russian regime, framed Starlink not as civilian infrastructure but as a weapon of war, arguing that a single nuclear blast in orbit could “solve the problem” by disabling the constellation in one stroke.

What makes the threat more alarming is how casually it is being discussed. While even Russian military analysts acknowledged that a nuclear detonation in space would cripple Russia’s own satellites as well, the conversation itself signals how normalized catastrophic escalation has become. Starlink, operated by SpaceX and associated with Elon Musk, has become a symbol of modern warfare where communication, surveillance, and civilian technology blur into strategic assets. By framing orbital infrastructure as a legitimate nuclear target, Moscow is openly challenging long-standing restraints on space, turning the heavens into yet another battlefield.

The weaponization of space — and casual talk of nuclear detonations beyond Earth — reflects a world racing toward chaos while insisting it can manage the consequences. Jesus spoke of wars and rumors of wars intensifying before the end, and developments like these show how those conflicts are expanding into realms once considered untouchable. Space, like the seas and the skies before it, is no longer immune — and that should sober anyone paying attention.
