In a city already known for radical political experiments, this marks a dangerous new boundary being crossed.

Wilson also pledged expanded protections and free legal support for undocumented immigrants while condemning federal immigration enforcement as “authoritarian.” She did so without acknowledging recent violent incidents tied to illegal immigration, instead painting ICE and CBP as oppressive forces.
