Keep Watch!
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

For the first time in nearly 2,000 years, the sound of the shofar has once again echoed across the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Temple Institute announced the historic event with great significance, noting that the shofar’s blast is more than just a sound — it represents Israel’s return to HaShem and serves as a prophetic symbol of the long-awaited redemption. The shofar is deeply tied to Israel’s spiritual identity, used throughout the Scriptures to call the nation to repentance, announce sacred events, and herald the arrival of God’s kingdom.
The Institute connected this moment to Isaiah 27:13, which foretells a “great shofar” that will one day summon the exiled back to worship before the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem. For many, this act carries profound prophetic meaning, pointing to the restoration of Israel and anticipation of the coming Messianic age. To hear the shofar sounded once more on the Temple Mount — the very place where God’s presence once dwelled — marks not only a return to ancient tradition but also a signpost that history is moving toward its ultimate redemption.
This moment is more than symbolic — it’s prophetic. The sounding of the shofar on the Temple Mount aligns with the prophetic trajectory of Israel’s restoration and the preparation for the coming Temple. Isaiah 27:13 speaks of a great shofar blast that will gather the exiles back to Jerusalem, and now, after two millennia of silence on this sacred site, the echo of that ancient sound has returned. As tensions rise over control of the Temple Mount, and preparations for renewed worship continue to advance, this event serves as a clear reminder that God’s Word is unfolding before our eyes. The shofar is not only a call to repentance but also a trumpet of warning — signaling that history is nearing its climax and the stage is being set for Messiah’s return.
Stay Awake. Keep Watch.
