A new paper from the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) is urging the UK government to introduce a nationwide digital identity system for all businesses—a mandatory, centralized identifier designed to track every company’s operations, development stage, finances, digital usage, location, and even its “maturity” within the government’s preferred tech ecosystem. According to the report, the digital company ID would give the government a “real-time profile” of each firm, allowing authorities to personalize guidance, training, financing options, and regulatory engagement. The system would be built upon the government’s existing ONE Login digital infrastructure and could launch as early as 2027, with full mandatory adoption within two years. TBI argues this would reduce administrative burdens and cut billions in fraud and compliance costs, pointing to digital ID models in Singapore and Estonia as success stories.

While marketed as a modernization tool, this move represents a major leap toward the kind of centralized control and surveillance Scripture warns about in the last days (Revelation 13). Once digital IDs become mandatory gateways for business participation, government programs, financing, and regulatory approval, they quickly shift from “convenience” to control infrastructure. When governments can track, approve, restrict, and deny economic activity with a single unified ID, the groundwork for a future no-ID/no-access economy is in place—precisely the type of system the Antichrist will wield. The UK’s push toward a mandatory, nationwide business digital identity is yet another step in the global march toward a monitored, permission-based economic system—one that sets the stage for the beast system to emerge.
