A deadly terror attack struck the Gush Etzion junction on Tuesday, leaving one Israeli dead and three others wounded in a combined ramming and stabbing assault. The victims included a woman in her 40s who suffered severe injuries, along with a 30-year-old and a 15-year-old who were moderately wounded. Three terrorists carried out the attack before being neutralized by IDF reservists who happened to be nearby. As first responders treated the wounded, security forces discovered multiple explosive devices inside the terrorists’ vehicle — a chilling reminder that the attackers intended a far greater massacre. The explosives were safely defused by West Bank border police as emergency teams rushed the victims to Shaare Zedek and Hadassah Ein Kerem hospitals.

Following the attack, the IDF began cordoning off surrounding Palestinian towns and establishing roadblocks to prevent additional threats. MDA paramedics described the scene as “serious and complex,” with multiple victims suffering penetrating wounds. The assault underscores the escalating wave of violence targeting Israelis in Judea and Samaria — a region already on high alert. Each of these attacks is another reminder of the spiritual and geopolitical tension surrounding Israel in these last days, where the threat of terror remains persistent and deadly.
