A disturbing report out of Texas has revealed that nearly $92,000 in state taxpayer funds were granted to MAS Katy — a mosque identified by federal prosecutors as part of the “overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States.” MAS Katy’s founder, Dr. Main Khalid Al-Qudah, issues Sharia rulings through AMJA, a U.S.-based Islamic jurisprudence body known for extremist positions, including restrictions on women’s public roles and mandatory hijab for girls as young as seven. Even more alarming, sermons from MAS Katy’s imam openly describe Christians, Jews, and all non-Muslims as “fuel for the Fire,” “worthless,” and destined to be “driven into Hell.” Yet these messages were funded with money approved through Governor Abbott’s office — raising serious questions about how a mosque preaching anti-Christian and anti-Jewish hate was vetted, approved, and subsidized with public dollars.

The scandal deepened when one of the accused gunmen in the September 21 shooting of a Christian baseball coach in Katy — shot mid-prayer at a children’s game — was photographed attending MAS Katy’s Eid celebration and follows the mosque online. Despite this documented connection, state and county officials have offered little transparency, even as MAS Katy continues platforming radical Sharia judges like Salah al-Sawy, whose rulings defend forced sex in marriage, justify killing apostates, and call female genital mutilation “honorable.” The question for Texans is no longer rhetorical: Why are Christian taxpayers funding a network tied to extremist ideology, Brotherhood-linked clerics, and now a shooting on a children’s ballfield? As the Beast System expands through religious extremism, political infiltration, and state-enabled compromise, believers must remain alert to the spiritual and social forces reshaping the culture.
