The 8th Front: War of Words & Hate

Feb 27, 2026

Israeli President Isaac Herzog is sounding the alarm. In a recent interview, he described what he believes is the worst wave of antisemitism since the Holocaust. While Israel continues to confront physical threats from Iran and its terror proxies, Herzog warned of an “8th Front” — a global psychological and media war aimed at delegitimizing the Jewish state and undermining the Jewish people’s right to self-determination. Unlike rockets or drones, this front operates through narratives, social media campaigns, campus activism, and highly amplified voices across the political spectrum. The goal, he argues, is not merely criticism of policy but erosion of Israel’s moral legitimacy.

Herzog noted that antisemitism today flows from ancient hatred mixed with modern political messaging. It appears on college campuses, in online movements, and even in certain faith communities. At the same time, he emphasized the growing alliance between Israel and Christian supporters worldwide. Since October 7, that partnership has intensified, with many Christians publicly affirming Israel’s right to exist and defend itself. Yet the President also acknowledged the stakes: younger generations are increasingly exposed to anti-Israel narratives, and the battle for truth is now fought as fiercely in digital spaces as it is on physical borders.
