Tony Blair’s ‘Reimagined State’ Revealed

Oct 9, 2025

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change has launched its “Reimagined State” project — a global blueprint to use artificial intelligence and digital systems to reshape how governments function and how citizens live. On the surface, it promises efficiency, cost reduction, and modernization. But beneath the polished language lies a deeper agenda — one that merges government data, AI governance, and digital ID systems into a centralized infrastructure of control. The plan includes AI-driven “policy twins” to simulate legislation, automated government assistants, and interoperable data systems connecting every citizen’s records. The institute even piloted an AI “Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence” in Albania, named Diella, whose role is to make executive decisions based on data rather than human judgment — a chilling glimpse of government by machine.

Tony Blair’s push for a global digital identity, linked to banking, health, and travel systems, could enable governments to track, punish, or even restrict citizens’ access to essential services. Under the guise of “efficiency,” policies could be enforced by limiting digital payments, freezing accounts, or cutting power and mobility based on compliance. Critics warn this is not modernization but a technocratic soft totalitarianism — a system where freedom is traded for convenience and algorithms dictate who participates in society. Blair’s “Reimagined State” fits into a larger web of globalist goals — digital currencies, AI governance, and environmental social scoring — converging into a prophetic echo of Revelation 13: a world where no one can buy or sell without state approval. What’s being sold as innovation may, in truth, be the framework of the coming beast system.
