Actor Elliot Page is reportedly narrating and co-producing a new documentary titled Second Nature, a film that explores same-sex behavior and so-called gender fluidity in the animal kingdom. According to promotional material, the documentary examines more than 1,500 animal species said to display same-sex interactions, sex changes, or alternative social structures. Page has said the project is intended to help young people who identify as queer feel less isolated and to challenge long-held ideas about what is considered “natural.”

The filmmakers say the documentary draws from scientists and researchers who have studied animal behavior for years. Director Drew Denny said learning about these topics changed how she viewed herself and gave her a sense of belonging. Page described the film as entertaining, informative, and a catalyst for conversation about censorship, identity, art, and science. Supporters see the project as educational, while those of us with a brain and the Bible on our side view it as another attempt to use media and science narratives to reshape moral and cultural norms, especially among youth.

The deeper issue is not one film but the accelerating effort to redefine creation itself. Scripture warns of a time when truth would be exchanged for error and established boundaries treated as outdated restraints. What previous generations recognized as moral clarity is increasingly recast as repression, while confusion is marketed as liberation. When children become a central audience for these campaigns, it signals how aggressively the cultural battle for hearts and minds is now being fought.
