Trump: Iran No Longer a Threat

Apr 2, 2026

President Donald Trump announced that after 32 days of intense military operations, Iran is “essentially no longer a threat,” citing the destruction of key military infrastructure, including missile systems and strategic capabilities. In a national address, he emphasized that U.S. forces had significantly weakened Iran’s ability to project power, declaring that the regime’s influence in the region had been severely diminished. However, despite this declaration of victory, Trump also outlined a continued phase of aggressive military action, stating that the U.S. would continue striking Iran “very hard” over the coming weeks to fully complete its objectives.
