A newly revealed post-war blueprint for Gaza, reportedly drafted within the Trump administration and obtained by The Washington Post, proposes placing Gaza under U.S. trusteeship for at least ten years. The 38-page plan, which envisions a sweeping reconstruction effort, brands Gaza as a potential “Riviera of the Middle East,” transforming the war-torn enclave into a hub for tourism and technology.

The initiative, named the GREAT Trust (Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration, and Transformation Trust), outlines controversial measures including the “voluntary” relocation of Gaza’s more than two million residents. Under the plan, Palestinians could choose to emigrate abroad with financial incentives—such as $5,000 in cash, a year’s worth of food, and four years of rent—or remain temporarily in secure zones within Gaza during reconstruction. Property owners would receive digital tokens redeemable for housing in newly developed “smart cities.”
