A major shift just took place in the global war on Islamist extremism. The Trump administration has officially designated three of the Muslim Brotherhood’s largest branches—in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon—as terrorist organizations, cutting off their access to Western financial systems and exposing their true nature. Though the Brotherhood has long portrayed itself as a peaceful political movement, U.S. intelligence and Treasury officials now openly confirm what many have warned for years: these groups have quietly funded, supported, and sheltered terrorist organizations like Hamas while working to destabilize governments from within.

By targeting individual Brotherhood branches rather than issuing a single symbolic designation, the administration is striking at the movement’s global financial and organizational infrastructure. The Egyptian and Jordanian branches were named for their direct support of Hamas, while Lebanon’s al-Jamaa al-Islamiyah was labeled both a Foreign Terrorist Organization and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity. This means assets frozen, bank accounts shut down, and international operations crippled. What has been sold to the West as “political Islam” is now being formally exposed as a sophisticated terror network wearing a suit and tie.

This move highlights the growing alignment of radical Islamist networks against Israel and the Judeo-Christian world. Groups like Hamas do not exist in isolation—they are part of a broader ideological and financial web rooted in the Muslim Brotherhood. Scripture foretells a final convergence of hostile powers against Israel and God’s purposes (Psalm 83; Ezekiel 38). As these Islamist movements are unmasked and confronted, the geopolitical chessboard is shifting toward the very conflict patterns the Bible described thousands of years ago. The lines are being drawn, and the battle for Jerusalem and truth is intensifying.
