US Tech Force Signals AI Technocracy

Dec 16, 2025

The Trump administration has announced the creation of a “U.S. Tech Force,” a public-private initiative aimed at building artificial intelligence infrastructure across the federal government by recruiting roughly 1,000 engineers to work directly with agency leaders and major tech corporations. According to reports, participants will serve two-year terms embedded in government offices while collaborating with corporate partners such as Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, Palantir, Oracle, Amazon Web Services, and Nvidia. Framed as modernization and efficiency, the program points toward a future where core government functions are increasingly automated and outsourced, with AI systems positioned to replace human decision-making wherever possible.

Critics warn this model mirrors a technocratic framework in which centralized government power merges with corporate monopolies, concentrating authority over data, policy, and public life. By tying federal operations to AI platforms built and maintained by a handful of global tech giants—and by discouraging independent state regulation—the initiative raises alarms about accountability, transparency, and liberty. From a prophetic lens, this convergence of state power, corporate control, and algorithmic governance echoes the architecture of a coming Beast-system economy—one optimized for efficiency, but primed for surveillance and coercion. As governments increasingly “delegate” judgment to machines, the question is no longer whether AI will rule public life, but who controls the code—and to what end.
