The U.S. government is reportedly using AI to revoke visas of students suspected of supporting Hamas. Personally, I say good riddance to those that support such an organization. However, I do find the use of AI to be a bit concerning. Scripture warns of a coming system where control will be absolute (Revelation 13:16-17), and the use of AI to monitor and punish individuals for their perceived views is another step toward that reality. What starts with targeting actual security threats can quickly expand into a tool for silencing anyone who opposes the prevailing narrative.
We’ve already seen how AI is being used for censorship, from social media platforms restricting biblical views on marriage and gender to financial institutions de-banking those who stand for biblical truth. The use of AI to revoke visas may seem justified now, but history has shown that once a government adopts a tool for control, it rarely stops with its original intent. If today’s target is pro-Hamas sentiment, tomorrow’s could be Christian beliefs labeled as "hate speech." The same spirit of suppression that fuels persecution in foreign nations is gaining ground in the West.
The Church must remain vigilant. Technology is neither good nor evil, but in the hands of those who oppose biblical truth, it becomes a weapon for silencing dissent. This move toward AI-driven governance aligns with the prophesied global system that will demand compliance at all costs. Now is the time to pray, prepare, and boldly stand for truth while we still can. Our freedom to speak the Gospel is not something we can take for granted. READ MORE
