Visa Joins Global Push for Digital ID

Sep 18, 2025

Visa has officially stepped into the digital ID arena, signing a seven-year global deal with biometric giant TECH5 to merge payments and identity into a single system. Announced in Dubai—a hub for global tech and financial experimentation—the initiative aligns with the broader push for Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), heavily championed by the United Nations, World Economic Forum, EU, and Bill Gates. At the heart of this vision is the creation of “identity wallets,” where your verified credentials and biometric data—face, fingerprint, iris—are stored and seamlessly tied to your financial transactions. What’s being framed as secure and inclusive is, in reality, a step toward embedding identification and commerce into a unified digital framework, perfectly fitting the blueprint of a coming global system.

Prophecy watchers should see the significance: once your identity and your ability to buy or sell are merged into a single digital layer, freedom is no longer a right but a permission granted by those who control the system. While Visa and TECH5 promise safeguards, privacy advocates rightly warn of mass surveillance and loss of autonomy. History shows that centralized systems of control are always vulnerable to abuse—and this one comes with biometric tracking built into the foundation. Revelation speaks of a time when no one can buy or sell without the mark (Revelation 13:17). Moves like this are conditioning the world for that reality. What is marketed as progress is, in truth, preparing the infrastructure for prophetic fulfillment.
